2014 Programme

2pm. The Gathering on Shoreham Village Recreation Ground. Refreshments, costumes, face-painting, garland making and music. Become a Sun God or Faerie Queen and please bring any instruments you play!

3pm. The Procession. Starting from Shoreham Village Rec. A musical and theatrical procession (3/4 mile) for all the family. Music, art and surprises along the way, down lanes & footpaths, to the Quadrangle.

3.30 – 6.00pm. Discovery time. Music workshops including drumming and singing, for adults and children. Slack-rope walking. Woodcraft sessions. Kent Wildlife Trust will be leading nature activities.

5.00 – 5.30pm. Circus artists in the Main Barn. Spectacular aerial and dance performances from South London troupe My Aerial Home.

6.00 – 7.00pm. The Interlude. Delicious food and drink. Open Mic session in the Buskers Tent for talented local performers.

7pm – 8.30pm. Evening Concert with Hunting Bears. The Bears are  a young, alt-folk outfit from Leeds with five singers, harp, double bass, ukelele, guitars, keyboards and drums.

9.00pm. The Afterparty BarnDance with Fiddlefit. Fiddlefit are a fantastic local  duo to get you moving: Bill on guitar and vocals, Judith on fiddle.

Tickets for anyone aged 12 or older will be £10 for the whole day. Come and enjoy as much of it as you can – there’s a great deal to enjoy.
